Football Lodge No 9921

Football Lodge No. 9921 was consecrated on 4th June 2016 after a small group of founders came up with the idea of combining their love of football with their love of Freemasonry.

Starting with 29 founding members, the lodge has now grown to 58 Subscribing members and 7 Honorary members.

We continue to attract new initiates into Freemasonry who are keen to explore the secrets and mysteries of ancient Freemasonry and share time with likeminded individuals.

Football Lodge has made Botley Masonic Centre its Home ground, but groups of travelling supporters can be seen regularly attending meetings at many lodges within the Province and further afield.

2022 has welcomed our first ‘light blue’ Worshipful Master and in 2023 we will welcome our first #9921 Initiate to have progressed to the chair….which will be closely followed by a long list of light blues.

Charitable Fund Raising

The Lodge has already gained a reputation for its formidable fund raising and has supported many small grass roots football teams who are in need of our help. From 2021 until 2027 the Hampshire & IOW Province is in Festival for the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) but the lodge will continue to raise monies for grass roots projects as a way of giving back to a sport that we all love so much.
